Author to speak on ‘A for Argonaut’

Are you a fan of political thrillers? If so, you'll want to be here at Waterstone at Wellesley on Wednesday, April 16.

Author Michael Stedman will discuss his thriller, "A for Argonaut," which tells the story of former Special Operations officer Lt. Col. Mack Maran, who must restore his honor after being betrayed by the Pentagon and tossed out of the Army. Maran's quest takes him from the United States to Africa as he works to solve a massive diamond scam.

You can learn more about the book here, or read an excerpt here.

Though perhaps not as dramatic a life as Maran's, Stedman has a noteworthy story of his own, having spent many years as a political columnist, magazine writer and intelligence consultant to major corporations. He was formerly on the New England board of the Association for Intelligence Officers and is a former U.S. Army Reserve soldier with the 94th Infantry.

You can learn more about him here.

We hope to see you at the discussion!
