Train Boston and Waterstone at Wellesley partner to provide fitness, physical therapy to residents

We’re excited about another great partnership that’s been developed here at Waterstone, this time with Train Boston. Train Boston, a medically-based fitness and physical therapy provider in Wellesley, has partnered with us to provide top-quality fitness and wellness opportunities to Waterstone at Wellesley residents. Train Boston will send physical therapists and trainers to Waterstone at Wellesley for individualized personal training, therapy and group classes.

Train Boston owner and founder Tim Brewster, who has worked with professional and Olympic-level athletes, said he is looking forward to the opportunity to work in both a one-on-one and group setting with older individuals.

“We’re aware that the needs of the senior population are different from others, and we use the most recent research to offer training and therapy designed to keep aging individuals in their best health,” he said. “Our objective is to keep them comfortable, safe and independent. We want to increase their quality of life.”

Waterstone at Wellesley will feature an indoor pool, which will facilitate individual and group water training sessions, Brewster said. Residents will undergo an individual screening to assess their fitness level and will work with Train Boston physical therapists and trainers to create a unique fitness plan. Train Boston personnel will be on-site 30 to 40 hours a week.
