A look at what’s happening in April

Birds are chirping, the weather is warming, and flowers are starting to peek up out of the dirt. It’s finally feeling like spring around here! I hope you’re enjoying it as much as we are here at Waterstone. As you probably know, if you’re a New Englander (or know anyone from the area), baseball season is starting again and that means the Red Sox opener is coming up. Of course, we treat this event as the holiday it is here in the Boston area. We’re excited to be hosting a special opener event next month, as well as a slew of other fun events. • Archie Richards entertains for Happy Hour at Waterstone (April 5)  – Waterstone at Wellesley will welcome performer Archie Richards for a show on Friday, April 5 at 4:30 p.m. Richards will perform Broadway hits on his electric piano for happy hour. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required. Call 781-235-1614 to RSVP. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St.
• Shir Appeal to perform at Waterstone (April 6) – Waterstone at Wellesley will welcome a cappella group Shir Appeal on Saturday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. Shir Appeal is Tufts University’s only co-ed Jewish a cappella group and one of the oldest collegiate Jewish a cappella groups in the country. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required. Call 781-235-1614 to RSVP. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St.
• Red Sox opening day at Waterstone (April 8 ) – Waterstone at Wellesley will host a party for Red Sox opening day on Monday, April 8 at 1:30 p.m. Join Waterstone residents and staff to cheer for your favorite team! We will have traditional baseball snacks, games, and a presentation from a local Red Sox expert. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required. Call 781-235-1614 to RSVP. Did you know? Storage at Waterstone at Wellesley

Storage is an important piece to consider when making a move. At Waterstone at Wellesley, all of the apartments will be equipped with ample storage, from large closets in the bedrooms to built-in storage in the bathrooms. In addition, there will be large storage units in the underground garage for additional storage needs. These units will be available in full or half size. The full storage unit will be 3 feet wide by 5 feet deep and will be approximately 7 ½ feet high. A half-sized unit will be 3 feet wide by 5 feet deep and 3 feet, 9 inches high. Did you know? Waterstone at Wellesley apartment bathrooms

Curious about the bathroom amenities in the Waterstone at Wellesley apartments? Here’s some information for you: The independent living apartments will be offered with one or two bathrooms. For the one-bathroom apartments, there will be a tub-shower combination. If the apartment has two bathrooms, there will be tub-shower combination and a walk-in shower. The assisted living apartments will have walk-in showers. Bathrooms, as you can see from the photo here, have been tastefully designed with clean lines, built-in shelving, granite countertops, classic fixtures, and more. Reserving your apartment at Waterstone at Wellesley

Did you know there are several ways to reserve your apartment at Waterstone at Wellesley, and that you can do so right now? For convenience, customization and security, your best option is joining Club 27. This requires a deposit as well as one month’s rent, which is fully refundable or will be applied to the balance owed at move-in. Being a member of Club 27 provides you with special bonuses and incentives, including pre-construction pricing, discounted community fee, priority on apartment selection, special moving services, and much more.

If you’re not ready to commit to Club 27 yet, there is the Priority Deposit option. If you are interested in moving into the community but aren’t ready to choose an apartment yet, this is your best choice. Being on this list provides you with special notifications about and priority access to events. It does not, however, guarantee a space in the community. Waterstone at Wellesley to feature comprehensive security system

We’ve received a number of questions about the security features Waterstone at Wellesley will offer. The safety and security systems at Waterstone at Wellesley will be thorough and state-of-the-art.

To start, the building will be staffed 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring ’round-the-clock monitoring. In addition, all perimeter doors will be locked and accessed via a keypad, and security cameras will monitor key access points throughout the community.

In addition to community-wide security features, Waterstone will also offer security within each individual apartment. Every unit will be equipped with an electronic locking system, emergency call system, wellness check system, and a communications console with cable, data and telephone.

Will there be washers and dryers in the apartments?

Developers Break Ground on Luxury Senior Living Facility

National Development in conjunction with Epoch Senior Living, along with several partnering entities, ceremoniously broke ground on the forthcoming senior living facility Waterstone at Wellesley this morning.

The groundbreaking made official the project, which will include 138 luxury rental units, fitness facility among other amenities. There will also be a CVS on the premises.
