WELLESLEY – Waterstone at Wellesley will welcome Art Matters, an art education and awareness program, for a presentation on Van Gogh on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required. Call 781-235-1614 to RSVP. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St., and includes 134 apartments for seniors 62 and older. It features independent and assisted living rental apartments. WELLESLEY – Waterstone at Wellesley will host acclaimed store The Cheese Shop, known locally as Wasik’s, for a cheese tasting at the community on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 2 p.m.  This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required. Antipasto Tasting at Waterstone at Wellesley

On a mid-August morning, a small group of residents and staff from Waterstone at Wellesley gathered for the first meeting of the community's newest recreational group: The Waterstone Fishing Club.

The fishing expedition was peppered with stories about days gone by and the occasional bite on the line. One of Waterstone’s first residents caught the first fish of the day — a largemouth bass about six inches long — and promptly released it.

Kristen Kenney joins Waterstone at Wellesley team as sales director

WELLESLEY–August 14, 2012Waterstone at Wellesley, a new retirement community that opened in May, has hired Kristen Kenney as a sales director.

Kenney previous worked as the marketing director at EPOCH Assisted Living of Norton, an EPOCH Senior Living community in Norton, Mass. Waterstone at Wellesley is an EPOCH Senior Living community. Prior to joining the EPOCH Senior Living team, Kenney worked as a marketing and sales director at a large retirement community outside of Boston.

Waterstone at Wellesley announces summer concert series

WELLESLEY–June 25, 2012Waterstone at Wellesley, a new senior living community, announces its summer concert series, beginning Thursday, July 19 at 6:30 p.m. with a performance by The Belle Tones, an Andrews Sisters tribute group. Performances will be held in the outdoor courtyard of the community near the Charles River.

Waterstone at Wellesley grand opening event May 23

WELLESLEY–May 17, 2012–Waterstone at Wellesley, a new senior living community, will host a grand opening celebration on May 23 at 6 p.m.  At 6:30 p.m., a ribbon-cutting ceremony will feature Alice Peisch, state representative; Barbara Seale, chair, Wellesley Board of Selectman; Larry Gerber, CEO, EPOCH Senior Living; and Ted Tye, managing partner, National Development.
