Waterstone at Wellesley wins gold award for design from National Association of Home Builders

WELLESLEY, Mass. – January 23, 2013 – The National Association of Home Builders today named Waterstone at Wellesley, a luxury senior living community in Wellesley, 2013 gold award winner for excellence in senior housing design at the trade association’s annual national conference in Las Vegas. Ted Tye, managing partner of National Development, was on hand to accept the award.

On a mid-August morning, a small group of residents and staff from Waterstone at Wellesley gathered for the first meeting of the community's newest recreational group: The Waterstone Fishing Club.

The fishing expedition was peppered with stories about days gone by and the occasional bite on the line. One of Waterstone’s first residents caught the first fish of the day — a largemouth bass about six inches long — and promptly released it.

WELLESLEY–September 21, 2012– Waterstone at Wellesley, a new retirement community that opened in April, has hired Leslye Peterson as the community’s life enrichment director.

Kristen Kenney joins Waterstone at Wellesley team as sales director

WELLESLEY–August 14, 2012– Waterstone at Wellesley, a new retirement community that opened in May, has hired Kristen Kenney as a sales director.

Kenney previous worked as the marketing director at EPOCH Assisted Living of Norton, an EPOCH Senior Living community in Norton, Mass. Waterstone at Wellesley is an EPOCH Senior Living community. Prior to joining the EPOCH Senior Living team, Kenney worked as a marketing and sales director at a large retirement community outside of Boston.

Waterstone at Wellesley announces summer concert series

WELLESLEY–June 25, 2012–Waterstone at Wellesley, a new senior living community, announces its summer concert series, beginning Thursday, July 19 at 6:30 p.m. with a performance by The Belle Tones, an Andrews Sisters tribute group. Performances will be held in the outdoor courtyard of the community near the Charles River.
