The fun continues this week and into the next at Waterstone at Wellesley with a historical lecture, a musical concert and an informative talk from the CIO of People’s United Bank.
Tomorrow, the historian Naomi Leeper is visiting to lead a discussion on ancient mythology, which has shaped many aspects of the world as we know it, including popular works of art, modern stories and some of the most well-known films.
Then, on Sunday, performer Julie Zielski will visit once again to perform show-tunes and Broadway hits. Zielski is a popular performer, singing nostalgic numbers that always gets her audience involved. While it’s her first performance of the new year, Zielski has visited Waterstone many times, much to the delight of our residents.
Finally, on Monday, John Traynor, the CIO of People’s United Bank, is visiting to lead the lecture, “The American Renaissance,” on Monday, Jan. 12. Traynor is planning to discuss investing in the world economy in a discussion that will be as fascinating as it is educational.
