Early October events at Waterstone

We’ve got a busy October planned at Waterstone at Wellesley, and we hope you’ll join us for the many fun events we’ll be hosting throughout the month, including several musical performances, fascinating lectures on contemporary poetry and the Salem Witch Trials, and a Pretty Things jewelry sale.

In the meantime, join us for these events:

On Oct. 11, we’ll host two very different musical events—a performance by lively entertainer Ted Powers, who tap dances while performing folk songs on the guitar and ukulele, at 2:30 p.m., and a performance by award-winning classical musicians Igor Begelman and Anna Khanina of the esteemed Piatigorsky Foundation at 7:30 p.m.

On Oct. 12, we will have our second installment of the Contemporary Poetry Lecture Series with teacher and performer Stephen Collins, who leads seminars on Whitman, Hardy, Shakespeare, Frost and Contemporary Poetry all over the country.

Then, on Oct. 15, we will host an Oktoberfest Celebration, featuring a beer tasting at 4 p.m. and a performance by popular Boston-area entertainer Dave Becker at 7:30 p.m. A great event for getting into the fall spirit!
