Early November events at Waterstone

November is here, which means the holiday season isn’t far behind. We’ve got a full schedule of festive events this month at Waterstone at Wellesley, and we hope to see you at these and others:

On Nov. 5, we will begin our monthly workshop series with artist Linda Landsberg, who will lead a card-painting workshop every Thursday afternoon in November (Nov. 5, 12, 19, 26) at 2 p.m. Participants will learn how to create one-of-a-kind cards for loved ones just in time for the holidays.

On Nov. 11, we will host pianist Archie Richards for a special Veteran’s Day concert at 4 p.m. Richards will play a wide array of patriotic favorites to honor and celebrate those who have served our country.

On Nov. 12, we’ll host two events. First, Tai Chi of New England’s Paula Sullivan will teach a tai chi class at 4:15 p.m., as part of her new monthly wellness series at Waterstone, Cause & Effect Wellness: The Paula Approach. Learn more about the benefits of tai chi for seniors here.

Then, at 7:30 p.m., pianist Richard Hughes will perform. Hughes is known for unique performances that involve playing the piano as silent films play behind him, creating a fascinating dialogue between the two art forms.

See below for full details on these events. We hope to see you around!
