Waterstone at Wellesley is a great place to go when you feel like experiencing something a little out of the ordinary. This week and the next, we’ll be hosting a great line-up of events, including several unique musical performances and a Casino Day.
On Feb. 11, we’ll welcome performers Kim Lamoureux, Michael Merullo and Nicholas Polthier for their production “People Will Say We’re in Love: Scenes from the Musical Theater Greats” at 4 p.m. The soprano, tenor and pianist trio will perform beloved songs along with dialogue and narration from a variety of popular musicals, including “Oklahoma,” “Annie Get Your Gun” and “She Loves Me.”
On Feb. 13, we’ll host Sgt. Daniel Clark for a performance at 4 p.m. “The Singing Trooper” gave the Massachusetts State Police 20 years of service and performed more than 2,500 events for federal, state, local and military functions during this tenure. He is a resident favorite!
On Valentine’s Day, Lou & Jan will perform a variety of love songs at 5 p.m. The pair has been performing together since 1980 and incorporates a wide variety of musical instruments into their performances, including keyboard, sax, trumpet, trombone and accordion.
Then, on Feb. 17, Casino Productions will host a special Casino Day at Waterstone from 2 to 5 p.m. The event will feature Blackjack, Poker, Roulette and Craps games managed by formally attired dealers, as well as slot machine games and refreshments. All games will be played for fun, with no monetary stakes.
