Global politics, dueling pianists and bourbon-sipping

As we look forward to spring and the renewal the season brings, we’re hosting some uncommon events to broaden our residents’ experiences. What better way to refresh yourself this season than with an array of educational and entertaining events at Waterstone at Wellesley?

On March 6 at 4 p.m., Professor Gary Donato will present “From Al-Qaeda to ISIS.” As a retired U.S. Navy officer and a professor of Global Studies at Bentley College, his background and knowledge will give audience members a unique, educated look at the terrorist group frequently on the news.

Dueling pianists Ethan Stone and Adam Bergeron will visit Wellesley on March 16 at 7:30 p.m. The two grew up in neighboring towns and studied with the same piano teacher—they’ve been dueling since childhood! Come see their lifelong duel play out and enjoy both jazz and contemporary music along with classics.

We’ll end the month with a bit of imbibing. On March 20 at 2:30 p.m., start your evening off right—with a tasting of delectable bourbons. Join us as we discuss their unique characteristics, and enjoy socializing with fellow bourbon lovers!

See below for full details. We hope to see you soon!
