Waterstone at Wellesley was honored to be asked by AseraCare Hospice to partner for A Butterfly to Remember on June 16. The special event commemorates the loved ones we’ve lost in the past year and in years past and will be hosted in our courtyard.
Every year, AseraCare Hospice hosts A Butterfly to Remember, which was created to honor loved ones and to support hospice awareness. The title comes from the night’s namesake event—when everyone releases a butterfly into the sky in remembrance. This year, we’ll be releasing bubbles from a jar as a symbolic gesture instead.
With the public and AseraCareHospice, we will be honoring those we’ve lost in the past year. As an independent and assisted living community, we have the utmost respect for caregivers, whether you’re a professional caregiver or a family caregiver, and we hope you’ll join us for the afternoon.
There will be music and short poetry readings, and refreshments will be available after the ceremony.
Friends, family and children are welcome to join in the celebration and time of rememembrance. The event starts at 2 p.m.
