Wellesley Books is a great, local bookstore and wonderful resource here in Wellesley. Located at 82 Central Street, the bookstore has a large selection of recent bestsellers, classics and children’s books and is run by a knowledgeable staff who are happy to provide a recommendation or two.
Many of our residents are avid readers at Waterstone at Wellesley, which is why we’re excited to welcome Lorna Ruby from Wellesley Books next Wednesday to discuss the latest bestsellers.
According to the New York Times, the top five fiction bestsellers this week are:
- The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
- All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
- Code of Conduct by Brad Thor
- The English Spy by Daniel Silva
- Nemesis Catherine Coulter
Wellesley Books also lists Harper Lee’s recently released sequel, Go Set a Watchman, as one of their recent bestsellers, but the store’s staff pick amongst bestsellers is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, a story of two French sisters who “offer resistance to Nazis by employing very different but equally powerful methods.”
