Developers Break Ground on Luxury Senior Living Facility

Members of the Wellesley Board of Selectmen, along with O'Neil and Tye, officially break ground at the old Grossman's site.

National Development in conjunction with Epoch Senior Living, along with several partnering entities, ceremoniously broke ground on the forthcoming senior living facility Waterstone at Wellesley this morning.

The groundbreaking made official the project, which will include 138 luxury rental units, fitness facility among other amenities. There will also be a CVS on the premises.

Senior Living Facility Coming To Grossman's Site

WELLESLEY.PATCH.COM BY: ROB BORKOWSKI The Grossman's property on Washington Street, vacant and fenced off for years, is on its way to a more productive future. Wellesley Building Inspector Michael Grant reports the owner of the property, National Development of Newton, has filed for both a building and demolition permit for the site. While the building permit is approved, and site work can begin, the developer still needs the demolition permit in place to begin work in earnest.
