‘Freedom of the Press’ Featuring Professor Joseph Adelman

Waterstone at Wellesley will welcome Professor Joseph Adelman for his presentation “Freedom of the Press” on Monday, Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. An assistant professor of history at Framingham State University and an extensively published historian, Adelman holds degrees from Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University, and has served as a history lecturer at the latter. He has held fellowships and grants from the American Antiquarian Society, the American Philosophical Society, the David Library of the American Revolution, the Gilder-Lehrman Institute for American History, the Library Company of Philadelphia, and the Doris G.
