At Waterstone at Wellesley, we’re pleased to offer a wide array of fun, community events every month and that won’t change in 2015!

The fun starts on Sunday, Jan. 4, with a performance from the entertainer Jamie Becker.  Becker entertains crowds by covering a variety of performers, including Elvis and Puccini. She’s also great on the ukulele!

From Waterstone at Wellesley, we wish you the happiest of holidays this season. With Christmas tomorrow and Hanukkah coming to an end, it’s been a joyous time of year.

It’s probably also been one of the busiest, but here’s hoping it’s now the time to relax and enjoy family and holiday celebrations.

This holiday season at Waterstone at Wellesley, we’ve hosted a variety of special holiday performances, including a special choir performance from The Wellesley Middle School Chorus and a performance from Temple Emunah, who visited yesterday for the first day of Hanukkah.

We’re continuing the festive events tomorrow and next week, with another children’s choir performance and a Christmas Eve performance from pianist Archie Richards.

End the week on a high note at Waterstone at Wellesley with a special choir performance tomorrow and a discussion on the modern Christmas favorite, “Love Actually” on Sunday.

Next week at Waterstone at Wellesley, we’re hosting almost daily events, with an emphasis on music, though we’ll also be hosting a performance by Stephen Collins and an informative presentation on safe driving. Learn more about each event below!

We hope you enjoy the holiday weekend and have a wonderful Thanksgiving! We know our residents here at Waterstone at Wellesley are looking forward to spending time with friends and family tomorrow.

We have a diverse schedule of community events at the start of next week, beginning with a performance from pianist Rick Scalise on Sunday and ending with a discussion Tuesday night led by journalist Melanie Lidman who writes on the activity of nuns in Africa and the Middle East.

Starting tomorrow, a new wave of community events at Waterstone at Wellesley will begin with a performance on Walt Whitman by Boston-based actor and teacher Stephen Collins.

The month of November is going to be very busy here at Waterstone at Wellesley! Between fascinating lectures, engaging musical performances and informative presentations, we’re hosting more than a dozen events in the coming weeks.

We are hosting the second part in a four-part series, “Long Lives, the New Reality” next Monday with a discussion by Harvard University researcher Dr. Sayyed Fatemi who will lead the talk, “Erasing Perceived Limits of Old Age.”
