Tomorrow, Archie Richards is visiting to play old favorites from Frank Sinatra. Richards is a gifted pianist who studied with Kyriena Siloti, the daughter, student and assistant of Alexander Siloti, a renowned Russian pianist who studied under Franz Liszt.

April is National Stress Awareness Month

Today is the first day of National Stress Awareness Month, a time to decrease the stress in your life. As experts note, stress increases the risk of heart disease, heart attack and stroke and it also leads to poor eating and sleeping habits.

Art, music and more on the horizon

We’re preparing for another month of events at Waterstone at Wellesley, and as usual, we have a full schedule. The a cappella group The Notables will kick off the month with a performance on April 1, but first Art Matters owner Jane Blair will close out March with a presentation on the art of Greece and Rome.
